About Bookisty
Bookisty turns required reading into something students can actually keep up with, and actually remember.
Why we built it
Students are assigned far more than they can realistically read. Dense papers, long chapters, and endless articles pile up, so people skim, cram, and forget it a week later. Speed-reading tools help you finish faster but do nothing for retention. We wanted the opposite: read what matters, then keep it.
How it works
Upload a PDF, paste text, or drop a link, and Bookisty distills it into the key claims and evidence you’re responsible for. It highlights the parts worth a closer read, turns concepts into flashcards automatically, and builds a quick quiz from the likely exam questions.
Memory that schedules itself
Bookisty knows the forgetting curve. It resurfaces each concept at the moment you’re about to lose it, with adaptive intervals and exam-aware planning, so a week of reading is still there months later with just minutes of review a day.
